Crowd Favorite currently has the following positions available.
Sr. Developer/Architect
This position will give you the opportunity to design and build projects for high profile clients, as well as developing Crowd Favorite products.
A candidate should have experience with:
- Architecting and scaling web-based applications, services and web sites with advanced functionality.
- Object-oriented programming, patterns, and frameworks.
- Server design and configuration for scalability.
- PHP and other web programming languages.
- SQL and a working understanding of best practices.
- XHTML, CSS, web standards and semantic web markup.
- Web services and AJAX delivery.
- JavaScript and experience with at least one JavaScript library (jQuery, Prototype, Yahoo! UI, dojo, etc.).
An ideal candidate will also have experience with:
- Some experience with visual design for the web.
- Experience with CodeIgniter or another PHP framework (Symfony, CakePHP, etc.).
- Integrating with WordPress or other CMS systems and open source packages.
This is a full time position in our Denver office. Pay for this position is market rate competitive and will reflect experience.
Web Developer
This position will give you the opportunity to work on projects for high profile clients, as well as developing Crowd Favorite products.
A candidate should have experience with:
- Building web-based applications, services and web sites with advanced functionality.
- PHP and a working understanding of security and optimization best practices.
- SQL and a working understanding of best practices.
- XHTML, CSS, web standards and semantic web markup.
- Web services and AJAX delivery.
- JavaScript and experience with at least one JavaScript library (jQuery, Prototype, Yahoo! UI, dojo, etc.).
An ideal candidate will also have experience with:
- Some experience with visual design for the web.
- Experience with CodeIgniter or another PHP framework (Symfony, CakePHP, etc.).
- WordPress and WordPress plugins.
- Examples of prior work available online.

Jr. Developer
This is position will give you the opportunity to work on projects for high profile clients, as well as developing Crowd Favorite products and services.
A candidate should have experience with:
- Web-based applications, frameworks and a general development background.
- PHP and a working understanding of security and optimization best practices.
- SQL and a working understanding of best practices.
- XHTML, CSS, web standards and semantic web markup.
- JavaScript and experience with at least one JavaScript library (jQuery, Prototype, Yahoo! UI, dojo, etc.).
This is a junior level position, and we will expect to mentor you in one or more of the areas above. However we will also expect you to have applicable web development experience to build from.
