Searching From LaunchBar and Quicksilver
In LaunchBar you can create a Search Template to do a search in Tasks Pro™ or Tasks. Open your configuration, select Search Templates, then Add a new Search Template. This is the URL you want to set:
http://www.example.com/tasks/index.php
?screen=search&action=search&text_query=*
In Quicksilver you create a bookmark to be used as a web search, with an URL like this (more information):
http://www.example.com/tasks/index.php
?screen=search&action=search&text_query=***
Bookmark Search Results
All search results can be bookmarked, so you can run them at any time by selecting that bookmark (like mini-reports). For example, you might want to bookmark a search for all tasks in your group that are high priority and are less than 25% complete.
Bookmarklets
You can create interactive JavaScript bookmarks called "Bookmarklets" to do special things. To use a bookmarklet, create a bookmark with one of the javascript: URLs below, then edit the URL as appropriate (to match the URL of your install). Here are some examples:
- Create a task from a web page

If you click this while viewing a web page, it will create a task with the web page title as the task title, any text you had selected in the page as notes for the task and add the URL of the web page into an URL field for the task.
